The Earth Wise Short Film Festival is an innovative community event that will screen creative short films about our environment as well as provide a forum for discussion. The films will aim to raise awareness about sustainable living and how human actions can affect our planet.

The event is a local activity supporting World Environment Day (WED) – an annual event aimed at being the biggest and most widely celebrated global day for positive environmental action.

On 5 June 2011, millions of people from countries all over the world will be celebrating WED.
