Do you like making short films?

Do you want to make a difference?

Would you like the chance to show your talent AND be involved in supporting a sustainable way of living?

Bright Green Events are hosting a one off short film night in support of World Environment Day that will introduce Sydney’s up and coming filmmakers while raising awareness about sustainable living and positive environmental action. EarthWise Short Film Festival is the oppurtunity to use your creativity and knowledge to inspire the imagination of our local community to create a new way of living!

Filmmakers will have the chance to screen their film that captures the positive and negative consequenses of how human actions affect our planet.

The Mission

How to make a change

Your everyday life has some affect on the planet, whether you drive to work, keep the water running, recycling your waste or not - show us in your own creative work what that can do.

Your work will help to inform and inspire people to change the way they live. A living picture tells more than a thousand words and has a bigger impact on society than anything else so therefore we want you to join us and create a positive change for our environment.

You can create your film using any genre of your choice. So choose a genre you feel will get your message out about sustainable living!
